- 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- ¼ cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional, for depth of flavor)
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Slice the sausage, clean the shrimp, chop the broccoli, and mince the garlic.
- Cook the Sausage: Heat oil in a skillet and sauté the sausage until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the Shrimp: Add shrimp to the same pan and cook until opaque and pink. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté Broccoli & Garlic: Cook the broccoli until tender-crisp, then add garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
- Add the Sauce & Combine Everything: Stir in the honey garlic sauce, let simmer, then toss everything together.
- Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve over rice or noodles!
