Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces Fresh chicken is recommended for best results.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for extra crunch.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Dipping sauces (optional, for serving) Suggestions include ranch, BBQ, or honey mustard.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken in the beaten egg, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Roll the egg-coated chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, covering it completely.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces, or add to meal bowls, salads, or pasta dishes.

Notes

For an extra crunchy texture, consider double-dipping the chicken: once in egg and then again in breadcrumbs. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
