- Increase the heat slightly and add the ground chicken (or turkey). Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Stir in the drained white beans, diced green chilies, chicken broth, ground cumin, chili powder, and season with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Remove from heat and gently stir in the sour cream until well combined.
- Serve hot and garnish with shredded cheese and cilantro, if desired.
