  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Boneless, skinless
  • 8 oz egg noodles Can substitute with other types of pasta
  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • optional fresh parsley for garnish Adds color and freshness

Preparation
  1. Begin by cooking the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Once al dente, drain them and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Add them to the skillet and cook until golden brown and fully cooked through, roughly 6-7 minutes on each side. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest.
Cooking
  1. Using the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter along with the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant.
  2. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing them in the buttery garlic sauce until well-coated.
  3. Slice the chicken into strips and serve it over the noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Consider serving the dish with a light salad or steamed vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of water or chicken broth to keep moist.
