Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 unit lemon, juiced

For the Chicken Hearts
  • 1 pound chicken hearts, cleaned
  • for serving lemon wedges

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add the cleaned chicken hearts and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Thread chicken hearts onto metal or wooden skewers.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the skewers for 2–3 minutes per side until cooked through.
  3. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the hearts before serving.

Notes

Serve with rice or chimichurri sauce for a complete meal. Chicken hearts cook quickly; avoid overcooking to prevent toughness.
