  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 2 limes) Use freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice (or 1 teaspoon orange extract) Adjust for sweetness.
  • 1-2 teaspoons agave syrup or stevia Adjust to taste.
  • ½ cup soda water or sparkling water
  • Ice (crushed or cubed) Essential for a chilled drink.
Optional Add-Ins
  • Salt or Sugar for the Rim Use sea salt or a sugar alternative.
  • Fresh Mint or Basil Leaves For added freshness.
  • Fruit Garnishes Lime or orange slices.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass.
  2. Dip the rim into a small plate of sea salt or sugar.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes or crushed ice.
Mixing
  1. In a cocktail shaker or a small pitcher, mix the lime juice, orange juice, and agave syrup. Stir or shake well.
  2. Gently stir in the soda water to retain the bubbles.
Serving
  1. Pour the prepared mixture into the glass filled with ice.
  2. Garnish with a slice of lime or orange.

Notes

This mocktail can be made ahead of time; combine the lime juice, orange juice, and sweetener in advance and add soda water just before serving.
