Ingredients
  

For the Strawberry Lasagna
  • 1 package Lasagna noodles Cooked al dente
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Set at room temperature for easier mixing
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Adjust according to taste
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract For flavoring
  • 2 cups Strawberries Sliced
  • 1 cup Whipped cream For layering and topping
For the Old-Fashioned Custard Pie
  • 1 pie crust Prepared pie crust Baked until golden brown
  • 1 pkg Custard mix Or homemade custard using eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla
  • 2 cups Milk For the custard

Method
 

Preparation & Assembly
  1. Cook lasagna noodles al dente and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Layer the cooked noodles with the cream cheese mixture, followed by sliced strawberries and whipped cream.
  4. Repeat the layers, finishing with whipped cream on top. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
Making the Custard Pie
  1. Preheat your oven and bake the pie crust until golden brown.
  2. In a saucepan, mix custard powder with milk and cook over medium heat, stirring until the mixture thickens.
  3. Pour the custard into the baked pie crust and allow it to cool completely. Chill before serving.

Notes

Best served with a garnish on the strawberry lasagna and a dusting on the custard pie. Both desserts can be stored in the refrigerator.
